This is a delivery-focused 12 month contract role where influence, negotiation, and momentum matter. It’s not about sitting on the sidelines gathering endless requirements — it’s about stepping into active programs and helping push them through properly.
  
You’ll be joining the APAC arm of a globally recognised insurance group. The local business operates with the feel of a mid-sized, highly collaborative company. There’s real access to leadership. Real visibility. Real ownership.

The Role – What It Is (And What It Isn’t)
  
This role sits within the technology team, supporting broker-facing portals and ongoing transformation initiatives. This is not a deeply technical BA role and it’s not purely early-stage discovery work either.

For the first 6–9 months, you’ll be stepping into delivery-heavy phases, supporting live projects already in motion, balancing BAU enhancements, and working closely with developers, testers and business stakeholders to keep initiatives moving forward.

You’ll need to be comfortable negotiating priorities, managing competing demands, and influencing stakeholders to ensure outcomes are delivered.
If you’ve worked in insurance or financial services environments before, you’ll recognise the rhythm, structured, regulated, but collaborative.
  
What the Work Looks Like

• Supporting delivery across multiple broker portals
• Partnering with senior BAs, technical leads and test teams
• Managing enhancements and operational changes alongside project work
• Overseeing release readiness and UAT alignment
• Maintaining the bigger-picture view while still owning the detail

There is a consistent pipeline. The workload is balanced properly. The team is structured. This is not firefighting.
  
What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst
• Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation capability
• Experience in insurance or financial services environments preferred
• Comfortable operating in mid-to-late delivery phases
• Confident communicator who can influence without authority

The Details

• 12-month contract
• Daily rate of $850 - $950 Daily inclusive of super
• Located in Sydney CBD – currently 1 day per week in office, moving to 2 days in July
• Immediate start
