QA Engineer - NPP

Intrinzic are hiring on behalf of a leading enterprise client in the payments space that has an immediate requirement for a six-month contract with the view to extend.
 
You’d join a tight-knit NPP Test & Certification Squad as a Quality Engineer, supporting critical testing initiatives tied to Australia’s real-time payments infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone with strong NPP domain knowledge and hands-on experience working with ISO 20022 messaging standards.
 
You’ll be working hybrid from Sydney (2 days in-office) with a manager who’s not just hands-on technically but deeply invested in her team's growth. She's built a strong QA guild with monthly and quarterly sessions focused on levelling up, from best practices in automation to emerging trends in AI and tooling. There’s a real emphasis here on future-proofing your career.
 
You’ll be responsible for validating payment flows and certification scenarios to ensure compliance, reliability, and performance across the New Payments Platform (NPP). You’ll be working alongside domain specialists and engineers, contributing to a nationally significant program with a high bar for precision and quality.
 
What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in NPP and/or payments testing
• Good understanding of ISO 20022 and related schemas
• Functional testing skills with attention to regulatory and compliance nuances
• Ability to thrive in structured, time-sensitive project environments
