Senior DevOps Engineer (AI and Security)

About the role:
You will join this rapidly growing DevOps Engineering Team as a Senior member, bringing DevOps Engineering expertise, best practice implementation, whilst working on greenfield projects.

You will work on brand-new initiatives around AI and Security, working closely with DevOps, Data and Analytics, and Security.

If you don't have experience with AI or Security, that's okay. We are looking for an accomplished Senior DevOps Engineer, who has a keen interest in AI and Security, to come into this role with a "self-starter" attitude, and pick up these skills on the go, whilst being able to define their role as it develops. Therefore, having the ability to work in a forever changing environment will be key, as no 2-days will be the same. Exciting right!

Key skills/experience required:

• Expertise in building and designing cloud platform/solution that enables rapid delivery of high-quality software
• Experience in implementing and design of AWS cloud solutions in a commercial enterprise environment
• Proficiency with e2e automation writing Terraform code from scratch will be key! Ansible and/or CloudFormation are nice to haves.
• Experience developing high-quality code in (Golang / Python / Bash)
• Experience with building and maintaining sophisticated CI/CD Pipelines & automation with tools like (Gitlab, bitbucket, bamboo, Jenkins, SonarQube, etc.)
• Experience with scaling containers (Docker or Kubernetes) and serverless architecture
• Experience implementing security DevOps practices
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and decompose complex problems down into sprint deliverables in projects

What you will be accountable for:

Consistently contribute to the design and implementation of automation foundation, standards and practices for the DevOps Engineering team drawing on knowledge of DevOps/Cloud/SRE industry practices and frameworks.

• Review and provide guidance on code from DevOps Engineers to ensure that all quality and compliance controls and guidelines are consistently followed
• Guide and build capability with DevOps engineers within product teams through the sharing of knowledge and experience, active training, coaching and mentoring
• Collaborate with Application engineering Teams to align and influence DevOps practices that enable faster delivery and effective maintenance of cloud infrastructure
• Drive implementation of DevOps/Cloud automated solutions in project delivery
• Collaborate directly with Application Development Teams to align and influence DevOps practices that enable faster delivery and effective maintenance of cloud infrastructure
• Contribute to the migrations of existing solutions and development of new solutions following the DevOps Engineering technology roadmap
• Contribute to the Infrastructure Department strategy and the DevOps Engineering roadmap
